In the beginning, there was him.

Gutsy, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn't want to break. She's sick of her mother's zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, and declares she'll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Søren Stearns and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Suddenly, daily Mass seems like a reward, and her punishment is the ache she feels when they're apart. He is intelligent and insightful and he seems to know her intimately at her very core. Eleanor is consumed—and even she knows that can't be right.

But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. She vows to repay him with complete obedience…and a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets.

Danger can be managed—pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin.

"He was part of my dream, of course- but then I was part of his dream, too."
Through the Looking-Glass - Lewis Carroll

MY THOUGHTS

The book starts with Nora at age 36. She's full of grief and sadness and she wants to spend a few solitary days in a cottage in the German Black Forest.
We don't know at that point why she's sad and grieving. We (or me, the reader☺) guess about it a lot, but we don't know.
Then her quiet refuge is not so quiet anymore.
Nico shows up. Remember that Kingsley had a long lost son living in France? That's Nico ☺
He's a 25 year old vintner and he has a thing for older women ☺

Nora and Nico in the cabin...they start something.... sex - romance - healing - whatever it is - they both want and need it.
And then Nico wants to know how Nora met his father.
But Nora can't tell King's story without telling Nico about Søren.

And that's how THE SAINT begins.

Nora tells the story, HER story from the very beginning - the day she met the love of her life.

This man, this most beautiful man she'd ever seen in her life, this man who was the incarnation of her every hunger, every desire and every secret midnight dream... This man was her new priest?

"Oh, my God....."

And we follow that story all the way from 15-year-old Elle/Eleanor - from being arrested, from making a deal with her Priest - all the things we've heard of in previous books, and lots of things we hadn't heard of.

We're with Eleanor when she mets Kingsley for the first time - we're with her when she comes across a sex orgy for the first time and of course we're with her through everything
Søren. ☺

But what happened that Nora is all sad and grieving in Germany?
Will there be a cliffhanger?

I can't tell you - it would spoil everything - and you wouldn't want that!  ☺

I LOooOVED THE BOOK!!!!!

I was soooo looking forward to finally reading more about my beloved Nora, Søren and Kingsley.
I'm a bit of a groupie ☺

And the book did not disappoint for one single second!!!!!
For me a book can't be bad when I start crying on page one!

I don't even know why I cried so early but I did ☺

When I first read the blurb ages ago I thought, meh - a pro-pro-prologue of the Sinner books - don't know if I really need that. BUT I SOOOO NEEDED THAT!
We finally meet Teenager Nora and the young priest and we find out how their love began.
And it was sooo adorable to read. It had the feel of a cute Young Adult Romance, but it's not that at all of course. There's way too much sex in it - in large part the fault of our darling Kingsley ☺ Nora comes across lots of sexual situations in his house!
We visit the Priest's family - Nora's Dad plays a part - Nora's Mum too, of course -
really everything we've heard about before, but were never really told completely.

It was amazing to finally understand everything and see how it was back in the day ☺

IF YOU LOVED THE SINNERS THROUGH THE LAST 4 BOOKS - YOU WILL DEFINITELY FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM ALL OVER AGAIN NOW!  ☺

WHAT AN AMAZING BOOK

THANK YOU TIFFANY!!!!
