♂♂ Jesse's Diner ♂♂ Cardeno C ♂♂

Two men with a shared history and a mutual attraction must be honest with themselves and each other so both their dreams come true.

Quiet, unassuming Tanner Sellers spends his time running a diner in
Hope, Arizona. Not particularly social, twenty-two-year-old Tanner keeps to himself and enjoys his simple life, but he longs for someone to call his own. In his most secret fantasy, that someone is sexy Steve Faus. But Steve is his friends father and mentors widower and therefore off-limits.

Despite some challenges, thirty-nine-year-old Steve Faus has had a good life. He
s extremely successful at work, has a great relationship with his college-age son, and lives in a wonderful town. Eighteen months after losing his partner, the one thing Steve lacks is someone to share his life. If Steve is honest with himself, that someone is the young man he has known and cared about for years. Steve and Tanner want one another, all they need is a little push in the right direction to make both their dreams come true.

ARC received from author for an honest review

I love getting an emails from Cardeno C asking if I would like to review a book.

Cardeno C's books are like an addiction.  You know what you are going to get - a little bit of sweet, a whole lotta sexy and a HEA - and I can't get enough.

Tanner and Steve's is kind of a May to December relationship - Steve's not old but there is a significant age difference.

Steve is Tanner's best friends' dad, and he has been crushing on him for years... what he didn't know was what Steve was feeling.

I adored that Tanner and Steve had a non-romantic relationship for a long time before things turned all sexy hot and romantic.  There is such a difference in their experiences - both in life and love.  Tanner is completely clueless to Steve's flirting, which I found just adorable.

There were some things with Steve that I would have liked expanded upon, but know that these things are not possible in a novella length story.

I love love loved Steve's son Mike - the cheeky little devil that he is.  He is a mischief maker - with the greatest of intentions!

I really think that this is my favourite Cardeno C book... to date!

A Cardeno C book is like a catching up with a good friend - and I can't wait to catch up again.
