Love can be a great healer, except when it hurts

As voice actor royalty, Damon Donovan is trouble. He’s professionally intimidating. He’s confident. He’s charming, funny and genuinely talented. And he triggers the nurturing instincts newly separated Georgia Fairweather has sworn to ignore.

Damon Donovan is used to three types of women: those who fawn, those who mother and those who want to fix him. So a reticent, prickly engineer he can neither awe nor charm triggers his interest.

A recording engineer and a voice actor should be a match to sing about, but the thrilling rhythm they create is soon drowned out by static. Georgia doesn’t know who she is, and Damon doesn’t know who he’ll become.

Can a man facing his insecurities and a woman afraid of her own instincts harmonise, or are they destined to sound good in theory, but be out of sync in life and love?

Damon is a world-famous, australian Voice Actor - meaning, he does voice-overs for video games, movies, commercials et cetera. His voice has melted underwear all over the globe.
Now he's back in Sydney to do some jobs in a small recording studio.
That's where Georgia has just started working.
She's just 'escaped' London and came back to Australia, after being in a bad relationship/marriage for 8 years.
But now she's her own person again, or at least she can begin a new life....
She doesn't have time or patience for this hot and arrogant guy with the amazing voice.
Only he's not really arrogant, is he? He has problems of his own....
Problems that she's willing to take on? Like with her husband?

WHAT WiLL HAPPEN WiTH DAMON & GEORGiA???
WiLL THEY GET THEiR HAPPY EVER AFTER???
WiLL THERE BE A CLiFFHANGER??? ☺ ☺ ☺

NOPE..... I'm not telling you

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK!

Every time we get a new ARC by Ainslie, it's a total Forrest Gump bench moment ... you never know what you're gonna get - you just know that you'll very probably end up loving it.

And this book was really great!
(Even though it's not a RockstarRomance - it kinda IS one too - Damon sings with his friends at a bar!!!! Grrrrr!!! More panty-melting)

In good old Ainslie fashion - it wasn't your typical run-of-the-mill romance.

It's all very slow and sad and moving and you're constantly hoping and feeling with Damon and Georgia.
You don't want any bad things to happen to either of them....
But bad things might come, and maybe even badder things still...

I loved Damon and Georgia's story!!! And also the little side-stories of Damon's best friends.
I constantly wanted to hug Damon. ☺

Incapable was an amazingly beautiful and touching Romance! You can't go wrong 1-clicking an Ainslie Paton book!!!!

And now Ainslie - give us whatever you're working on now - can't wait to see where the next story will take us!

Copy received from the author for an honest review

A new story from Ainslie Paton?  Woo hoo!  Over the past year or so, Ms Paton has quickly become one of my "would read if she wrote the takeaway menus" authors.

You never know what you are going to get with a book from Ms Paton. No cookie-cutter stories from her, it is like a lucky dip each and every time.... and I love it.

Incapable was no different.

Damon and Georgia's story is not always a pretty one, but it is a story of hope, love, loss.

I adored Damon through thick and thin, though at times I wasn't sure if I wanted to clip him around the ears or give him a hug.

You could feel the confusion rolling off Georgia as things from her past continue to affect her today.

Throughout the entire story, I just wanted our lovelies to find their happiness.

I ran through a whole range of emotions with Incapable.  There may or may not have been a tear or two shed whilst reading.

I also loved Damon's circle of friends.  Through thick and thin, they are there for each other, and there were a couple of their stories that I would love to know more of.

I can't wait to see what Ms Paton brings us next.
