✪ Fractures In Ink (Clipped Wings #3) ✪ Helena Hunting ✪

Sometimes the things we shouldn't want become exactly what we need...

Waitressing at a seedy strip club isn't ideal, but it pays Sarah Adamson's tuition. Her goal is to finish her master's program and get a job that doesn't involve tight skirts and groping hands. She doesn't need distractions. Especially not the one that comes in the form of a hot-as-sin tattoo artist who works across the street from her apartment.

Kicked out at sixteen, and a high school dropout, Chris Zelter is familiar with wanting things he can't have. His fractured life has never been easy. As the product of someone else's bad decisions, he knows exactly what happens when the wrong person controls your marionette strings. Now an accomplished tattoo artist in a renowned studio in Chicago, Chris has it together.

Mostly.

Apart from his infatuation with Sarah. She's way out of his league, and Chris knows it.
But he's willing to be her bad decision. At least for now.

I love the sight of a new Helena Hunting book on my kindle!  She has quickly become of my auto-click, always read authors.

You could read Fractures In Ink without reading the other books in the Clipped Wings series, but there are things that we read that won't make much sense without knowing the whole story.

And why would you want to miss any of Hayden and his cupcakes?

If you have read the earlier books in the Clipped Wings series, Chris and Sarah's story is not going be new to you.  But that does not at all take away their story at all.  In fact, you are going to wish that you had had this story before now.

If you have only read Ms Hunting's Pucked series, you won't find this book full of beavers and wood jokes.

She has warned readers that Fractures In Ink is going to be different, going to be darker, going to be angst filled.

And it was all that and more.

From the first word to the last, my heart was racing for Chris and Sarah - and not always in a good way! It was an

from beginning to end.

And definitely one of my favourite Helena Hunting books to date.

After coming down from the horrible book hanger it left me, I am now impatiently waiting for what she brings us next.
