Raven and her sister, Cara, are at the mercy of a small detachment of Florentine vampyres, who are delivering them as a peace offering to the feared Curia in Rome.
Though she’s unsure William survived the coup that toppled his principality, Raven is determined to protect her sister at all costs, even if it means challenging Borek, the commander of the detachment.
In an effort to keep Raven from falling into the hands of his enemies, William puts himself at the mercy of the Roman, the dangerous and mysterious vampyre king of Italy. But the Roman is not what he expects
Alliances and enmities will shift and merge as William struggles to save the woman he loves and his principality, without plunging the vampyre population into a world war.
This stunning conclusion to the Florentine series will take readers across Italy and beyond as the lovers fight to remain together. Forever.

The Prince and The Raven & The Shadow & The Roman connect our beloved Gabriel Series to Sylvain's new paranormal Florentine Series.

YOU NEED TO READ THE BOOKS IN ORDER!!☺

This final book in the series starts with Raven and her unconscious sister being transported to Rome by Vampyres. Raven thinks William has been killed by the new Prince of Florence and the only safe place for them is with her Priest friend in Rome.
But of course William isn't dead. Well, at least not deader than he's always been. ☺
He's hot on his pet's trail.
And together they have to try to convince the Curia and The Roman that Raven can stay with William. And they need to get her sister safely out of Italy too. And that's only the beginning - we have lots of other things happening too....very dangerous and deadly and sexy things.....

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH RAVEN & WILLIAM?
WILL THEY GET THEIR HAPPILY EVER AFTER?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT☺☺☺

The final book in this beautiful series!

First I have to say that I'm not really a fan of supernatural books. But since I love Sylvain's Gabriel series and Gabriel has a little part in here too, I really wanted to read this series.
And I really enjoyed it. It's not like all those vampire books or tv-shows you always see. We don't have guys running around with blood dripping all over their faces, no bloody fights all the time. It's a real classy story. It's about love, and pain and loss and politics and the past and the future. About Art and the city of Florence. There's suspense and intrigue and mystery and romance. And it's so wonderfully written by Sylvain - he has this amazing writing-style that's just so different from other books ☺

And this final book was just as great as the others.
We have a lot to do until our darlings can even think of riding off into the sunset!

It's a very suspensy and exciting and moving last book. It takes us a very long time to get all things sorted and it still might be possible that not everybody will survive this series.
You won't be able to take a deep and relaxed breath until you've read the final word in this book, this series.
Get ready for an amazing finale!!!!

THE ROMAN was the perfect ending to this beautiful series!
Run to your nearest amazon to find out if and how Raven & her Prince will get their HEA!!!

And now Sylvain hurry with your new series! Can't wait to see what it is! I've heard rumors about Paris. ☺☺

Copy received from the author for an honest review

Le Sigh... that is me after reading The Roman.  It is always a bittersweet moment when you finish a series you have come to adore.

You will need to have read all the previous books in The Florentine Series before The Roman, as they all follow on from the previous book.

It has seemed a lifetime since we read The Shadow, and seemed like only a minute to read The Roman.

Raven and William - The Prince - are in all sorts of trouble in The Roman.  It is like a Bourne movie - every time you think nothing more could happen, we are taken on an even more intense adventure.

There is so much going on, you just have to hang on for the ride and hope that Raven and William make it out the other side.  It was quite emotional for me as I read and their story.  Who will survive?  Will we get a HEA?

Nope, for that you are going to have to read for yourself

Now I am in a book hangover and need to know what Sylvain will bring us next.

LiNKS TO THE BOOK & AUTHOR

Stalking Sylvain:

I am honoured to have had all three of my novels appear on the New York Times and USAToday Bestseller lists. I was a Semifinalist for Best Author in the 2011 and 2012 Goodreads Choice Awards. "Gabriel's Inferno" was a Semifinalist for Best Romance in 2011 and "Gabriel's Rapture" was a Finalist for Best Romance in 2012, in the Goodreads Choice Awards, as well. The final novel in The Gabriel Series, "Gabriel's Redemption," debuted at #6 on the New York Times Bestseller list.

My next book is "The Raven," and it releases from Berkley press on February 3, 2015. It's already available for preorder

I'm interested in the way literature can help us explore aspects of the human condition - particularly suffering, sex, love, faith, and redemption. My favourite stories are those in which a character takes a journey, either a physical journey to a new and exciting place, or a personal journey in which he or she learns something about himself/herself.

I'm also interested in how aesthetic elements such as art, architecture, food, drink, and music can be used to tell a story or to illuminate the traits of a particular character. In my writing, I combine all of these elements with the themes of redemption, forgiveness, and the transformative power of goodness.

I try to use my platform as an author to raise awareness about the following charities: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, WorldVision, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and Covenant House.
